“I stayed at the Reef Resort, where I have stayed previously, and noted that the business is now under new management. This has made a significant difference to the overall experience. The service was excellent — friendly, professional, and well organised. The bar was a noticeable improvement; cleaner, better presented, with a wider offering, and importantly, the beer was cold! The unit I stayed in had been repainted and upgraded, which was evident. It is clear that positive changes are being made across the property. I will certainly be returning. “Such a relaxing place! Feel nice and private. Great pool for the kids and adults. Safe and friendly. Rooms are spacious double story villas. Park the car right up to your front door and enjoy villas that are self contained. Awesome family holiday where you can save money as you dont have to eat out all the time as you have your own kitchen. Strongly recommend Reef Resort Port Douglas!”

“The new management have taken every reasonable step to make the resort shine. Communal areas are spotless, the pool is a joy, and the staff have been nothing but friendly and helpful in every interaction with guests I've witnessed these past ten days. I have loved my time here and would return in a heartbeat (although preferably without a cyclone warning in place!).”

“New management has definitely made a difference. First time here and the previous reviews were sad to see. Villas were super clean, perfect lay out and all you need with fully functioning kitchen, laundry facilities, two rooms (sleeps 4) and two bathrooms. The pool was great with little nooks (if you are a bit anti social like me and want some space). Staff were super helpful and polite and in fact took us in when we left our first accommodation after 2 hours. Highly recommend this place. Thanks Kelly!!”

“Great little villas and the pool was clean and refreshing. Our villa looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. A few cockroach droppings on the bed sheets and some droppings on a wall socket. But the rest of the place was clean. Needs some minor repairs to seals and paintwork”
